Speed Darlington Reclaims His Freedom After Two Months in Police Custody

Nigerian rapper, Darlington Achakpo, popularly known in music circles as Speed Darlington, has finally regained freedom after spending two months in police custody.

The release of the controversial singer was made known by his lawyer, Stan Alieke, who disclosed in a post on his Instagram page that Speed Darlington had finally joined his family after subjecting his client to what he described as two months of ‘illegal detention’.

Alieke also disclosed that he would explore every angle of the law to ensure that his client gets justice for his fundamental human right, which the Nigerian Police Force deprived him of.
