A suspected prostitute identified as Joy Kelvin, has allegedly stabbed to death a 48-year-old man identified as Okafor, who brought her home.
According to reports, they had a few rounds before the suspect took the victim’s life in his house on Sunday night at Jakande Housing Estate in Lekki, Lagos State.
The matter would not have made the light if not for Okafor’s friend, who in turn reported it to Ilasan Divisional Police State on Monday.
The complainant said the deceased was rushed to the General Hospital, Marina where he was pronounced dead by doctors on duty.
The police immediately visited the scene where the suspect was immediately taken into custody.
Meanwhile, the deceased body has been deposited at the General Hospital morgue in the Yaba for an autopsy while efforts are being made to locate his family members.
