The US Embassy in Nigeria has warned of a possible travel ban if visitors overstay during a visit to the country.
In a post shared on X, the embassy said there is no such thing as an honest mistake whenever an erring visitor is apprehended. The commission mentioned that consular officers have full access to a visitor’s immigration history and will know about past violations.
