Many persons have been killed after a female suicide bomber detonated an IED at a wedding ceremony in Borno State.
Converseer learned that the incident happened on Saturday, 29th June 2024, at Gwoza Town, Borno.
According to reports, a survivor said the woman bomber was carrying a baby on her back when she stormed the venue and detonated the IED.

According to Channels TV, the wedding was held at Tashan Mararaba near the Fire Service in Gwoza Town.
It was reported that the number of dead persons is yet to be ascertained but several of the injured persons are receiving treatment at the General Hospital in Gwoza.
