Man Caught Having An*l S*x With Little Boy In Calabar

By Frank Ulom

A young man in his 20s was caught having an*l s*x with a little boy between 5-7 years in Calabar, Cross River State capital.

CONVERSEER gathered that the incident happened on Monday morning (11 December 2023) at the Cultural Centre Complex, Calabar Municipality.

According to the workers at the Cultural Centre, the young man was sodomising the little boy behind a closet not knowing they were being watched.

One of the staff who spoke with our Reporter said the act happens during working hours at about 10am between the Foyer of the Cultural Centre Complex.

Fidelis Okoro, who gave an account of the incident said “On Monday 11th of December 2023 at about 10am, I casually walked into Cultural Centre Complex and made my way to the rehearsal space upstairs, just by the staircase I noticed an unusual rowdiness, diverse voices calling for a young man to be punished. I inquired from a female colleague who was in a rage and she said ‘We caught that he-goat having an*l s*x with that child’.

“I exclaimed in disgust, the sound of it irritated me badly. So, I took some steps further, I saw a malnourished child sitting on the floor, he was in tears. He looked r*ped, or so I thought. I bent down and asked him, wetin happen? He said ‘Dem catch us as we dey f**k for behind the air-conditioner for outside’.

“Swiftly, a video showing the moment both culprits were enjoying sodomy was handed over to me to watch at my discretion. They were behind a huge air-conditioner outside backing a glass which serves as a divide between the foyer and lobby. Unknown to them, those at the foyer can clearly see people outside but those outside can’t see people in the foyer. That was how the videographer captured the act from a close range through the glass.”

Continuing, Okoro said, “It’s obvious it wasn’t the first time they’ve had an*l s*x together, it’s even more pathetic that they indulged in it without minding the risk implication.”

He added “My worry is, why is there no awareness campaign against homosexuality in Calabar? The act is spreading like a virus, more kids are being recruited by the day. If this is not checked, we might experience a widespread HIV/AIDS in the state. We can’t continue to pretend like this is not happening… Enough is enough.

“What kind of sensitisation programme does our NGOs do to properly educate boys/street children about the health dangers of having an*l s*x? What proactive measure is the government/NGO taking to take these kids permanently away from the street? Their continued stay on the street is like a time bomb.”

Our Reporter further gathered that the young man whose identity was not disclosed was handed over to security agents.

A couple of years back, The Paradise News reported that an 8-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by the husband of a proprietress of a school along Parliamentary in Calabar.

CONVERSEER reported that the Cross River State House of Assembly has warned against the same s*x after a gay party was hosted in a hotel in Calabar on the 30th of June 2023. It was allegedly organised by a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).

Sodomy is also a crime enshrined in the Nigerian Constitution which states that “Whoever has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to fourteen years and shall also be liable to fine.”
