Operatives of the Niger State Police Command have arrested two suspected miscreants with a dangerous weapon in Tunga area of Minna.
Spokesperson of the command, SP Wasiu Abiodun, who disclosed this in a statement at the weekend said the suspects -Mariam Abdullahi and Aliyu Abubakar were arrested with a long sharp knife as well as two wraps of cannabis.
“On 5/2/2025 at about 8.30pm, a Police patrol team attached to Tudun-Wada Div intercepted and arrested two suspects in a tricycle with dangerous weapon. The suspects are; Aliyu Abubakar 25yrs and Mariam Abdullahi 22yrs both of Bosso area, Minna,” the statement read.
“The suspects were arrested with a long sharp knife and two wraps of cannabis. They are under investigation in the Div and will soon be charged to court for prosecution.”
