Apple on Friday released a support document today to remind users not to use uncertified Apple Watch chargers, “which may cause slow and repetitive charging, overcharging, reduced battery life, etc.”
Apple officially recommends that Apple Watch users only use chargers officially manufactured by Apple, or use chargers with Made for iPhone (MFi) certification and the Made for Apple Watch badge.
Apple provided images of genuine Apple Watch chargers and explained the text and security markings engraved on the cables.
Apple also provides a model list of all cables produced to date and provides instructions for checking the charger manufacturer using your Mac.

The operation steps are to connect the Apple Watch and the Mac device. On the Mac device, the user clicks “System Settings”->”General”->”About”->”System Report” and checks the Apple Watch charging under the “USB” directory. information about the device.
