The Governor of Cross River State, Sen. Bassey Otu, has appointed Director Generals (DGs), Managing Directors (MDs), General Managers (GMs) and Vice Chairman into boards and agencies.
In the press release signed by Mr Emmanuel Ogbeche, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor on Tuesday, 5 March 2024, one Vice-Chairman, nine DGs, three GMs and one MD, were appointed.

Below are the names of those appointed into Boards and Agencies of the State Government:
• Pastor (Dr) Bong Duke, Vice Chairman, Planning Commission
• Great Ogban, GM, Micro Finance & Enterpnse Devt Agency
• Hon. Mrs Majorie Asuquo, DG, Women Development Centre
• Michael Esege Lja, GM, Manager CRS Lottery Commission
• Rt. Hon. Ngim Okpo, DG, General BORDERCOM
• Ayang Azom Ayang, DG, Rural Development Agency
• Hon. Christopher Ntui, DG, Road Maintenance Agency
• Mr William Ekpeyong Archibong, DG, CRGIA
• Mr Francis Odachi Ekpo, DG, State Electrification Agency

• Mr Effiong Enum Okon, DG, Cross River State Waterways

“The Governor wishes the new appointees well, and charges them to be diligent and bring their wealth of experience to bear in service to the State,” the press release by Ogbeche added.
