The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has suspended the ongoing employment exercise.
This was made known in a press signed by Prof. Stephen Ochang, Acting Vice-Chancellor of UNICROSS on Thursday, 15th August 2024.
According to the statement, the suspension of the ongoing recruitment is due to logistic constraints being faced by the University.
“The Management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) wishes to inform the general public that the exercise of the recruitment of both Academic and Non-Academic Staff for the University, as published in the Nigerian Chronicle edition of Wednesday, August 14, 2024 — Tuesday, August 20, 2024, has been suspended indefinitely.
“This is due to logistic constraints being faced.
“Management sincerely regrets the inconveniences this development may cause the public.
“Any future position on the subject matter will be communicated accordingly,” the statement read.

The University had earlier called for applications for six placements for academic and non-academic positions.
