The veteran Android mobile game emulator BlueStacks officially announced a specific version called BlueStacks Air on its official website.
This version is said to be specially designed for Apple Silicon chip ARM Mac devices. It will be officially released on December 10 and 1,000 testing places will be provided every day.
At present, few mobile game emulators can install and deploy the Android environment on the ARM Mac platform with one click and run games directly.
In the domestic market, only MuMu Player Pro supports it, but it adopts a “paid” method. The specific pricing of BlueStacks Air is still unclear, but the Reference Application window has a “token” style icon in the upper right corner, which may mean that the emulator consumes tokens to run Android applications.
On the technical level, as a comparison, the Windows version of the BlueStacks emulator is developed in 64 bits, uses virtualisation technology to run the Android system, and supports compatibility with VirtualBox and Hyper-V dual environments.
