Incoming US President, Donald Trump performed the hit song YMCA – the classic 1970s disco anthem that has become synonymous with the Republican leader’s events — at his pre-inauguration rally in Washington D.C.
Trump’s Make America Great Again (MAGA) rally, held at the Capitol One Arena on Sunday night, concluded with a performance of the song by disco group, Village People.
Besides dancing along with the incoming President, several members of the band also shook hands with him.
Besides Village People, musicians like Kid Rock and Lee Greenwood also performed at the rally.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk made a brief appearance, with his four-year-old joining him and Trump on stage.
‘YMCA’ has become a staple at Trump’s Make America Great Again rallies and Mar-a-Lago fundraisers, with the 78-year-old often seen dancing to the disco hit while his supporters sing along.
Trump will be sworn in as president of the US, later on Monday, January 20.
