CALABAR – The Special Adviser to Governor Bassey Otu on Youths Mobilisation, HY Chief Dan Obo, on Sunday, dedicated his child, Daniel Fodahita Dan-Obo Jnr, at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Ikot Ansa, Calabar.
The baby dedication was attended by top dignitaries across the state, including Prof. Florence Obi, Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Godmother to the baby; Hon. Oden Ewa, Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Relations; High Chief Godwin Nyiam, MD Cross River State Water Board Limited; Great Ogban, DG MEDA; Otu Otu Ita, SA Budget; Dominic Okweche, Peace Corps Commandant; and Patrick Ugbe, CEO of Hit 95.9 FM Calabar.
Others are Emmanuel Eneji SSA Power; HY Obol Emmanuel Olayi, Cross River NYCN Chairman; Charles Akanihu, CEO of Sipet Oil and Gas; Terem Igbodor, SA Event; Kenneth Anam, SA New Media and Communication (Office of the Wife of the Governor); Agbeh Ekpong, SSA Special Duties (Office of the Deputy Governor); and Hon. Markpeace Osim, Councillor representing Ofutop Ward II and Majority Leader of Ikom Legislative Council.
The event was also attended by Princess, Leader of Akamkpa Legislative Council; Abang Ogon, former SA Students Affairs to former Governor Ben Ayade, DG Code 888, Members of De-Caucus, Councillors, Government officials, private business owners and other well-wishers.
“This is show of love and to be honest, I never expected this kind of crowd, the dignitaries, and everyone who came to celebrate with my family – I say, thank and God reward you immensely,” Obo, who is also the Convener of De-Caucus stated at the reception which in his residence in Calabar.
