Ghana’s National Security has uncovered a massive cache of U.S. dollars and Ghana Cedis hidden inside twelve 20-foot shipping containers during a high-profile operation.
The raid, conducted at a warehouse, also led to the discovery of suspected gold bars, raising serious concerns about illicit financial activities.
Authorities have yet to disclose the total amount of cash seized.
Investigations are currently underway to determine the source of the funds and gold, as well as any potential links to money laundering or illegal trade networks.
