The Senate Committee Chair on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions, Neda Imasuen, Neda Imasuen, has said that Senate President has not made any sexu@l remarks to any female Senator.

Imaseun said this in an interview with Arise TV this morning while reacting to the sexu@l harassment allegation Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan leveled against Senate President, Godswill Akpabio.

Speaking during his interview, Imaseun said

‘’We have four female Senators in this 10th Assembly and I will tell you that I am very close to at least threee of them. I seat next to Senator Ireti Kingibe. The issue you are speaking about doesn’t bother about Sexu@l harassment against her. It is a matter of privilege.

The Senate President has not, in my opinion, made any sexual remarks to any of the female Senators and I don’t think that any of the Female Senators have also complained about Sexu@l harrassment against him or anybody. We joke a lot in the Senate. The Senate is a place where we converge to discuss about the matters that affect the country.

If the familiarity is considered a form of harassment, then I don’t know. But for me, I don’t believe that the conduct of the Senate President is in any way disrespectful towards women.”he said
