The IT department is seeking new candidates to its dynamic team. The department provides support worldwide to the Organizations all along the value chain from exploration thru site development to production.
What role you will play in our team
- As a Software Developer you will build and modernize applications in multiple programming languages to help our business customers be more productive. You will work with solution architects and lead developers to deliver reliable, secure and efficient solutions that are intuitive and easy to use.
- Our office is located in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires and you will interact with developers and users from all around the world.

What you will do
- Analyze customer needs and design technical solutions as part of an agile team.
- Develop, implement and test applications leveraging modern technology stacks, API’s and Cloud.
- Work alongside other software developers on highly technical projects and deliver high quality contribution to codebase and testing.
- Participate in software reviews, conduct code reviews, and provide input and feedback towards ensuring application performance, reliability and security.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree or close to graduating in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar.
- Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication.
Preferred Qualifications/ Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or close to graduating in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar.
- Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication.
- We are seeking candidates with varied levels of experience in a Software Developer role, applying DevOps principles.
- Comprehensive understanding of Azure functions and services
- Experience with programming languages, such as C#, .NET JavaScript, Python or Java.
- Knowledgeable of code versioning tools (e.g. Git) and have experience with build management and CI/CD (e.g. Github Actions)
- Experience developing applications on any Cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS)
- Understand secure coding standards, knowledge of common software vulnerabilities and countermeasures
- Experience with web frameworks such as ReactJS, Angular, Vue.
- Knowledge of API design and development.
- Proficiency in debugging and problem solving.
- Experience building data models and data access layers against SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Basic knowledge of unit testing.
- Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
- Working experience in an Agile organization.
