Gunmen have k!lled a man identified as chief Onche Akatu and abducted another person in Asa 2 area of Otukpo town in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State.
It was gathered that Akatu, popularly known as Okakpo ka Achumedo, was shot at his residence at about 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
The other victim identified simply as Mr. Ocheche was abducted when he ran into the kidnappers.
Unfortunately, Akatu d!ed from gunshot injuries in the early morning on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
