Science will say a woman at 50 has reached her menopause and can never give birth but 68-year-old Alhaja Kehinde Sofiat Adekunli defied science as she gave birth for the first time.
CONVERSEER learned that Alh. Adekunli gave birth to a bouncing baby boy at the Iya Mayowa Hospital, Olomore, Ogun State.
Mrs Adekunli’s joy was spread by Hon. Kafayat Afolake, APC ward exco in Abeokuta South Local Government, on Sunday morning.
According to reports, the 68-year-old woman has been experiencing infertility for years.

Speaking with newsmen, Mrs Adekunli thanked God for the bundle of joy, adding that she and her husband had been optimistic that God would give them a child.
Her words: “When someone is looking for the fruit of the womb, the person will be moving from one hospital or gynaecologist to another, undergoing a series of gynaecological investigations and treatments.”
She said that all through the years she was looking for a child, she had strong faith in God.
