HARARE (CONVERSEER) – A 16-year-old boy allegedly abused by his 36-year-old female teacher has returned to school, and, of course, the welcome by his classmates and friends has sparked controversies on social media.
Recall that the female teacher, Zvikomborero Maria Makedenge, 36, appeared in Harare Magistrates Court late last month, for allegedly having s£xual intercourse with the underage boy (boy withheld) in a trending video.
According to reports, the US-based tutor giving math lessons, allegedly followed the boy into a bedroom at her Glen View home, locked the door, forced intercourse, threatened him, and offered a trip to America for silence.
She received $500 bail and awaits trial, originally set for early December.
A video emerged on Monday, showing the 16-year-old being celebrated by fellow students after returning to school.
According to the viral video spotted by Converseer, the school erupted with a huge roar as soon as the boy set foot on the campus. It’s like they were waiting.
There were lots of hugs, handshakes, group photographs, and some hailing the lad now christened “Baltazzar II” by social media users. See the video below.
Another video showed the boy dancing with a female classmate inside the classroom.

Meanwhile, unverified social media claims suggest Makedenge told police the boy forced her or tearfully admitted fault after seeing his nude photo, while Zimbabwe’s age of consent is 18, making any s£xual activity with a minor illegal.
Reports have it that the CCTV recorded 30 minutes of loud mo@ning, not screams. When the staff knocked, she opened the door and said, “We’re fine.”
Another footage shows the teacher holding the student’s hand, laughing, paying for Room 69 herself and walking in willingly in a lodge.
Trending video also showed that after s£x, the 36-year-old was calmly fixing her hair in the mirror and walking out normally, no bruises, no torn clothes.
It was also reported that the police found a properly used, knotted c0ndom in the bin.
She only reported “rape” the next day after the boy’s family confronted her and threatened to expose her.
Until then, she was still texting him sweetly. She also took smiling selfies with him, k!ssing his cheek and c¥ddling tightly, before and after the s€x.
Authorities have urged against sharing the explicit video to protect the boy as the case unfolds.
