Police indict 5 officers over social media misconduct

Police indict 5 officers over social media misconduct

ACCRA (CONVERSEER) – The Ghana Police Service has interdicted the following personnel of the service for various acts of misconduct involving the use of the Police uniform for unauthorised purposes on social media.

The personnel are:

1. No. 45545 G/Sgt. Samuel Agbemanyale

2. No. 50300 G/Cpl. Isaac Mpere

3. No. 51816 G/Cpl. Samuel Agbo

4. No. 56563 G/Cpl. Charles Oduro

“They have since been referred to the Police Professional Standards Bureau for further investigation and necessary disciplinary action,” a statement signed by Richmond Mensah, Deputy Superintendent of Police, for the Director-General of Public Affairs Directorate, on Tuesday, read.
