The All Progressives Congress, APC, has conducted its primaries and elected National Assembly, NASS candidates to run in the 2027 general elections.
In Cross River State, a total of 11 candidates were elected through direct primaries for the Upper Chambers (Senate) and Lower Chambers (House of Representatives).
Out of the 11, eight were elected for the Federal Constituency, including Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku, Ogoja/Yala, Ikom/Boki, Obubra/Etung, Abi/Yakurr, Akamkpa/Biase, Odukpani/Calabar Municipality, and Akpabuyo/Bakassi/Calabar South.
The remaining were elected for the three Senatorial Districts in the state, including North, Central and South.
Among the flag bearers were former lawmakers already in the NASS.

Converseer reports that the primaries held on Saturday, May 16, and Monday, May 18, 2026, respectively.
