Jordan Barrett, a young man of 24 years from Georgia, United States, was diagnosed with stomach cancer last year which required doctors to perform surgery to remove his entire stomach. After the surgery, he thought that the cancer had been eradicated, but unfortunately, it returned, much worse than before.

During his cancer journey, Jordan reconnected with his childhood friend, Mikayla Thomas, whom he had known since they were babies.

The pair fell in love and decided to get married. It was an emotional and beautiful moment for them.

Unfortunately, Jordan’s health continued to deteriorate, and in March, he shared an update on his GoFundMe page.

He said, “The doctors confirmed last week that we will be moving into palliative care with an anticipated timeline of 6 weeks until the progression has a large effect on me day to day, and 4 months until the cancer wins…”

Despite this heartbreaking news, Jordan remained positive and said, “I know where I am going after this time is over, and I have accepted it. I just want to spend my remaining time celebrating and being with those I love!”

It is truly inspiring to see his strength and resilience in the face of such difficult circumstances.
