Spain have reached the final of the 2026 FIFA World Cup after beating France 2-0 in a thrilling encounter in Dallas on Tuesday night.
Luis de la Fuente’s side blunted a France team brimming with attacking talent, and successfully controlled a game of few chances.
The Spaniards deservedly took their place in Sunday’s final thanks to goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro.

Oyarzabal opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the first half after Lamine Yamal was kicked unintentionally in the box by France left-back Lucas Digne.
Spain scored again in second half and remained calm, composed and full of class to the end as they saw the game out comfortably.
The 2010 champions will now look to win their second World Cup title when they face either England or Argentina in the 2026 final at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday.
