C’River NDDC Rep assures workers his unwavering support

The Representative of Cross River State at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Board, Rt. Hon. Orok Duke, has assured workers of his unwavering support as he admonished them to put their best in the growth and development of the state.

Duke stated this in a press statement on Wednesday, 1st May, to commiserate the 2024 International Workers’ Day.

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to prioritising the welfare and well-being of workers, ensuring fair labour practices, and creating conducive working environments for everyone.

“I commend the resilience of workers in Cross River State, especially in these trying times. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and I assure you of our unwavering support,” Duke said.

The NDDC Rep who also extended his warm regards and heartfelt appreciation to all workers in Cross River State, acknowledged their invaluable contributions to the socio-economic development of the State and the Niger Delta region.

He emphasised the significance of dedication, hard work, and resilience, particularly in the face of challenges.

“International Workers’ Day is a time to recognise and honour the commitment of workers across various sectors,” he said, adding “Their unwavering dedication drives progress and prosperity in our state and beyond.”

Duke further urged the workers to remain steadfast in their endeavours by contributing their quota to the overall advancement of the state and the nation at large.

He also extended his best wishes to all workers in Cross River State, celebrating their dedication, passion, and invaluable contributions to society.
