Ghanaian musician, Obaapa Christy has expressed regret for not going to school, and therefore, being a tabula rasa as far as education is concerned.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on 3FM, the ace Gospel musician shared that she didn’t take seriously education that purges the crudities of the mind.
According to her, if she were educated, with the talent that she has as a musician, she would have gone farther than she has today.
“What I would have changed is that I would have gone to school. The gift God has given me, combined with education, would have helped me achieve greater things. Even without formal education, I am doing well. So, being educated would have made me attain more”.
Meanwhile, according to Obaapa Christy, “I would still have chosen to be a Gospel musician because looking at where I came from and how God uses my ministry to uplift me and create opportunities for me”.
She added, “I cannot think of anything better than spreading the Gospel of the lord. For the work of the lord, I would still have dedicated myself to it”.
