Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State, Ntufam Ekum Ekok Ojogu, has congratulated Governor Bassey Edet Otu on his appointment as South-South Zonal Coordinator for the APC Presidential Campaign Council ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ojogu, in a congratulatory message issued on Saturday, 29 August 2026, described the appointment as a recognition of Governor Otu’s leadership and expressed pride over his emergence to coordinate the party’s presidential campaign activities in the South-South region.
He said Cross River State and the entire South-South region were proud of the governor’s leadership.
“Congratulations Your Excellency, Apostle Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu on your appointment as the South-South Zonal Coordinator for the APC Presidential Campaign Council (2027),” Ojogu stated.
The former APC state chairman wished Governor Otu success in mobilising party members and supporters across the geopolitical zone ahead of the election.
“Cross River State and the entire South-South region are exceptionally proud of your leadership. Wishing you massive impact, seamless mobilisation, and resounding victory ahead,” he added.
Ojogu also congratulated other Cross River indigenes who were appointed into the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 elections.
The appointments are expected to further strengthen Cross River State’s representation within the APC’s national campaign structure as preparations intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
