Nollywood actor IK Ogbonna has taken to social media to voice his concern about how mobile phones are negatively impacting human relationships.

The popular thespian who shared his opinion about the trend in a message posted on his Instagram page said that mobile phones are negatively affecting social interactions and relationships.

According to IK, some people have normalised being present but absent, and this automatically makes people lose focus at work, makes friendships fade away, and also kills relationships.

He wrote; “We’ve normalised being present but absent. At hangouts, parties, and even in relationships, one person talks, the other scrolls.

“The second you pick up your phone, you leave the moment. Your mind is in two places, but your connection suffers. Friendships are fading.
