A’Ibom Govt Announces Restriction of Movement Ahead July Monthly Sanitation

The general public is hereby notified that the July 2025 edition of the statewide monthly environmental sanitation exercise will be held on July 26, the State Commissioner for Information, Mr Aniekan Umanahb, made this known on Friday in Uyo.

According to him, the exercise will hold between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., with restrictions on personnel and vehicular movement.”

He stated, “The restrictions have become necessary to allow full compliance of all concerned to the directive towards ensuring the maintenance of Akwa Ibom’s status as Nigeria’s cleanest state

“The State Government, therefore, expects community leaders and stakeholders to mobilize members of their communities to participate optimally in this exercise, in collaboration with the Akwa Ibom State Environmental Protection and Waste Management Agency.”
