Two Nigerian airlines, Air Peace and Aero Contractor compensated 1,921 passengers for different infractions in November last year.

These infractions include flight delays, cancellations and cabin class downgrades during the period.

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) disclosed this in a statement posted on X on Monday and signed by its Director of Consumer Protection and Public Affairs, Michael Achimugu.

While Air Peace compensated 1,901, Aero Contractors compensated 20 passengers.

According to the report, business class downgrades accounted for the largest percentage of compensation, with the airline mostly offering a 65 percent discount on each downgrade.
