By James Ovie

Apple will hold a New Year promotion in Japan from January 2 to 5, 2024.

Anyone who purchases designated Apple products will receive free gifts worth up to ¥30,000.

Gift card amounts range from ¥4,000 to ¥30,000, depending on the product purchased.

For example, you can get a ¥4,000 gift card when you buy an iPhone SE or third-generation AirPods, and you can get a gift card of up to ¥30,000 when you buy a 15-inch MacBook Air.

In addition to gift cards, during the promotion period, the first 50,000 Japanese users who purchase iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 13 or third-generation iPhone SE will receive limited edition AirTags printed with the “Year of the Dragon” pattern.

It should be noted that you will not be able to get the limited edition AirTag when purchasing an iPhone through the Apple Store App. If you want to get an AirTag, you need to go to Apple’s official website or a physical Apple retail store in Japan to purchase it.

Apple holds a Japanese New Year promotion every year, and this is the third consecutive year that Apple has provided special AirTags.
