A Nigerian medical doctor, Obianma Onya, has advised women to be wary of men that encourage them not to have close relationships with their families.
“Marrying a man that encourages you to have a cold relationship with your own family is dangerous. The plan may be to isolate you so that you will have nowhere to turn to when he starts abusing you. Be wise,” she wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday, January 19
