Iran has launched an attack against Israel with dozens of drones, according to Axios.
Shortly before the attack, Israel Defense Forces announced a state of alert, notifying that all schools and educational institutions would be closed.
White House national security adviser, Jake Sullivan says the U.S. stands behind Israel.
“The United States’ ironclad commitment to the security of Israel,” Sullivan said.

Sullivan’s comments were during a call with Israel’s Head of National Security Tzachi Hanegbi.
“During the call, I reiterated the United States’ ironclad commitment to the security of Israel,” the national security adviser added.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden was forced to cut short his vacation this weekend and has returned to the White House.
