His family is suing Momeni as well as his mother, sister, brother-in-law, and several property management companies, according to documents filed in San Francisco Superior County Court.

The lawsuit claims Momeni’s relatives tried to sell the car that he picked Lee up in on the night of the murd£r, and then deleted information from their cellphones to conceal evidence.

It also accuses Portside Homeowners Association and Securitas Security Services of improperly releasing the disturbing security footage showing Lee’s final moments as he staggered down the street bleeding, saying it caused his two children significant emotional distress.

Lee’s family is seeking unspecified damages for negligence, wrongful de@th, aiding and abetting, conspiracy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy.

Lee, 43, the founder of the popular money transfer service Cash App, was found st@bbed early April 4, 2023, near downtown San Francisco. He was rushed to a hospital but d!ed of his injuries.

Prosecutors argued that Nima Momeni intended to fatally stab Lee over an argument about his sister, whom Lee knew, and her drug use.

Momeni said that Lee attacked him with a knife and that he defended himself and Lee was st@bbed.

Momeni faces 16 years to life in prison, San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins said.
