Chief of Staff Congratulates UniCross’ New Leaders

By Our Reporter

Hon Emmanuel Ironbar, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Cross River State, has congratulated the newly appointed acting Vice Chancellor the University of Cross River State (UniCross), Professor Francisca Bassey, as well as Ntufam Dr. Fidelis Ugbo, who was also appointed the Pro-Chancellor of the University

In a goodwill message which was signed by Patrick Asuquo, his Special Assistant on Media, and sighted by our reporter, Hon Ironbar said the appointments reflected the vision of Governor Bassey Otu to entrust proven leaders with the responsibility of steering the State’s premier University toward greater heights.

‘We are confident that their leadership will foster academic excellence and drive meaningful contributions to the development of Cross River State and Nigeria,” the statement stated.

The Chief of Staff also commended Hon. Francis Ettah and Professor Susan Etim on their inclusion in the University’s newly constituted Governing Council, noting that their wealth of experience “will strengthen the University’s leadership team and support its mission to advance education and innovation.”

He encouraged them to work together in transforming the University of Cross River State into a beacon of progress and opportunity, and noted that their success would benefit not just the University community but the State in general.
