A Nigerian lady, Faith, has advised any man planning to sponsor his bride-to-be’s education or career to hire a lawyer and get the girl to sign a refund agreement in case she decides not to go ahead with the marriage. 

 

“My advise to any young Nigerian man planning to financially sponsor his to-be bride’s education or career, y’all should put it in black and white, get a lawyer and make two reputable elders from her family, including her sign she’ll refund all you spent if she decides to leave,” she wrote on Tuesday.
