C’River Chief of Staff inspects ongoing renovation of Governor’s Office, urges contractors to fast-track work to meet deadline

Hon. Emmanuel Ironbar, Chief of Staff to Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu, has visited the ongoing renovation project at the Governor’s Office in Calabar to get an on-the-spot assessment of the progress and ensure the project is on track.

Hon. Ironbar who visited the place on Monday, expressed satisfaction with the work completed so far but emphasised the urgency for the contractor to fast-track the remaining tasks to meet the scheduled deadline.

According to a statement by Patrick Asuquo, Special Assistant on Media, Office of the Chief of Staff, on Monday, Ironbar highlighted the importance of timely completion, noting that the renovated office will improve government efficiency and create a better working environment.

Accompanying the Chief of Staff on this visit were the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Nsa Gill; Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Boniface Okache; the Senior Special Assistant on Environmental Carbon Emission, Mr Daniel Ekpenyong; and other aides.

“This inspection underscores the administration’s commitment to ensuring that all government projects are executed efficiently and completed on time to better serve the people of Cross River State,” the statement added.
