Cross River Civil Service Commission replaces job portal application link

by Frank Ulom
23 August 2024
in Jobs

The Cross River State Civil Service Commission has replaced the job portal application link for recruitment into the Commission.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Commission’s Chairman, Sir Maurice Effiwatt, on Friday morning, 23rd August 2024.

According to the statement, the Commission said it pulled down the smaller website and replaced it with a bigger one.

The statement said the Commission regrets any inconveniences caused by the action, adding that it has extended the deadline for application to 5th September 2024.

It read: “The Cross River State Civil Service Commission regrets the difficulties encountered by prospective job-seekers while using our former website since Tuesday, 20th August 2024. In truth, the difficulties arose from the unprecedented huge traffic of applicants that stormed that domain, in search of job opportunities.

“In order to serve the public better, the Commission has pulled down the small website and replaced it with a better, bigger and more secure website that will be formally launched by 6am tomorrow (Friday, 23rd August 2024) morning. Therefore, the Online Recruitment window has been extended by three days, now closing on Thursday, 5th September 2024.

“In view of the above, those who have successfully filled and submitted application forms through the former website are please requested to redo the same through this new website. We will all find this new arrangement, more convenient, exciting and user-friendly. Here under, are the new links, the (1st) directing one straight to the recruitment portal, while the (2nd) still directs one to the recruitment portal, but through the Commission’s official website.”

(1) The new Link to the recruitment portal:

(2) Commission’s Website link:

(3) Link to job positions, qualifications and requirements: https://converseer.com/12858/guide-on-how-to-apply-for-cross-river-state-civil-service-job/

CONVERSEER reports that the Commission floated an application website (http://crscsc.ng) on 20th August, but the site went down immediately because the poor resource allocation could not carry the traffic.
