The Government of Cross River State has released an 8-day timetable for free medical outreach for residents of the state.
According to a release by Dr Henry Ayuk, Commissioner for Health, at the weekend, the free medical outreach is in collaboration with Sharing Hope Medical Mission, USA, and will be carried out at the General Hospital, Calabar and General Hospital, Ukem im Odukpani Local Government Area, respectively.
“The general public, especially those resident in Calabar and Odukpani and environs, are by this announcement advised to take advantage of the Governor Bassey Otu-led administration’s initiative to ensure a healthier citizenry.
“Screening and registration are ongoing at General Hospital, Calabar and General Hospital Ukem, Odukpani, respectively, ahead of the free medical outreach,” the statement read.
