The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Saturday’s governorship poll, Wole Oluyede, on Friday visited the headquarters of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.
Oluyede arrived at the INEC headquarters accompanied by party officials and supporters to lodge a complaint that certain individuals not nominated by him had been issued with agents’ tags by the commission.
The PDP candidate was received by Resident Electoral Commissioner in Ekiti State, Bunmi Omoseyindemi, during a meeting held in the REC’s office, where he presented his grievances and sought the commission’s intervention ahead of the election.
He was later escorted out of the premises by security operatives.
