A 31-year-old married woman, who previously worked as a teacher at multiple schools in Indiana, has been accused of sexually assaulting teenagers and forcing minors to have group sex while wearing “Scream” masks.
According to News 8, 31-year-old Brittany Fortinberry currently faces 29 charges related to child sex crimes against minor students. The outlet reported that Fortinberry allegedly had group sex with multiple teenage victims after providing them with drugs. The former teacher has also been accused of forcing the teenagers to wear “Scream” masks during group sex.
News 8 reported that Fortinberry was arrested in February and remains in Indiana’s Morgan County Jail on $150,000 bail.
WTHR reported that Fortinberry was a substitute teacher for the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville from October of 2023 to January of 2024. Fortinberry was later employed as a teacher at Eminence Community Schools from July to August of 2024, when she was suspended after law enforcement officials launched an investigation into the teacher over “inappropriate conduct toward two students.”
According to The Post Millennial, two students accused the teacher of sending them sexually explicit messages of herself and videos of the teacher’s stripper pole and sex toys. In December, Fortinberry was accused of molesting a minor multiple times, leading to the teacher’s arrest in February.
The Post Millennial reported that five additional victims have raised allegations against Fortinberry since her arrest in February. The outlet noted that a 14-year-old victim claimed the 31-year-old teacher bought him and other male minors expensive gifts, vapes, weed, and dinners in exchange for sexual favors.

According to WTHR, Fortinberry has been accused of having sex with a teenager she asked to babysit her children, while another student claimed that the teacher offered to pay male minors between $100 and $800 for pictures of the genitals.
WTHR reported that another male minor told police officials that if the victims did not want to engage in sexual acts with Fortinberry, the teacher would force them to and would say, “Just let it happen.” Additionally, multiple victims claimed that the teacher sent them explicit pictures and videos on at least two different messaging platforms.
According to WTHR, one of the victim’s parents told police officials that Fortinberry’s husband was aware of the teacher’s behavior and “threatened to slaughter (the teen) in front of her if he came forward” with accusations.”
The Post Millennial reported that Fortinberry charges include child molestation, contributing to juvenile delinquency, and distributing harmful material to minors. If Fortinberry is convicted on all of the charges, she could face up to 262 years in prison.
