Francis Van-Lare Claims His Daughter's Partner, Who Took His Own Life, Was a 'Deadbeat Dad' and Denies $15K Monthly Child Support Report

Francis Van-Lare has continued to defend his daughter after her former partner took his life in the US.

Dr. Ikenna Erinne, a Nigerian cardiologist based in the US, ended his life on Jan. 26.

Online reports claimed he did so because he lost a custody case and was asked to pay child support of $15,000 per month and his license to practice as a medical doctor was revoked.

But Van-Lare has now alleged that Dr. Erinne’s license was not revoked in any state in the US (read here).

In a new post, he claimed the late doctor was asked to pay $1,900 per month as child support, not the $15,000 being peddled online.

He went on to share bank statements showing how much the deceased paid per month.

He further alleged that the deceased sometimes only made part payment and he called him a “dead beat dad”.

Van-Lare also shared court details of the case between the deceased doctor and his daughter Suzette Chibuogu Van-Lare.

According to the court document Van-Lare shared, the late doctor was asked not to contact Van-Lare’s daughter, not to abuse her, and to stay away from the children and their school.

The case type was listed as “domestic violence”.

Van-Lare also disputed reports that the late doctor brought his daughter from Nigeria and sent her to school abroad.

According to Van-Lare,  his daughter was born and raised in the United States.

This comes after Van-Lare released a statement denying reports that his daughter is to blame for the death of the 36-year-old doctor.

Van-Lare alleged that the deceased held his daughter, their children, and the nanny at gunpoint for hours before shooting himself de@d when police arrived (read here).
