Fullerton Plane Crash: Dead Toll Rises to 2 With 18 Injured

California, U.S. – The death toll from a small plane crash in Fullerton, California, has risen to two, with 18 others injured, the Fullerton Police Department confirmed.

The crash occurred near Fullerton Municipal Airport on Thursday, when the plane struck a building, sparking a fire. Authorities reported that emergency responders rushed to the scene shortly after the incident, which took place around 5 p.m.

Initially, the Fullerton Police Department confirmed one fatality and 15 injuries, but subsequent updates revealed a second casualty. Among the injured, several remain in critical condition.

Footage from the crash site shared on social media showed large plumes of smoke rising into the air, as firefighters worked to control the blaze. No further details regarding the identities of the victims have been released, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The Fullerton Police Department has assured the public that efforts to determine the cause of the crash are ongoing, with assistance from aviation safety authorities. Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
