Georgia, Ukraine, Poland book place at Euro 2024

Georgia, Ukraine and Poland have booked their place in the 2024 UEFA Championship to be held in June in Germany.

George defeated Greece while Ukraine and Poland defeated Iceland and Wales respectively on Tuesday evening to fill the three spots left at the 2024 Euros.

The earlier kickoff saw the match between Georgia and Greece end in stalemate after extra time.

Georgian goalkeeper, Giorgi Mamardashvili proved decisive as the game ended 4-2 in favour of Georgia in Tbilisi. This is the first time they are qualifying for a major tournament after being recognised as a European country over 30 years ago.

Chelsea’s Mykhaylo Mudryk was the hero as his 84th-minute goal put Ukraine through to the finals of Euro 2024.
