The Ghana Police have reportedly arrested a suspect, who was in a viral video assaulting another suspect.
The Ghana police disclosed this in a post sighted on their official Facebook page earlier today, August 13, 2026.
The Ghana Police, in the communique they released dubbed “POLICE ARREST SUSPECT IN VIRAL VIDEO ASSAULTING A SUSPECT” shared that “The Ghana Police Service has arrested suspect Sibamay Zakaria who was captured in a viral video assaulting a suspect”.
According to them, “The suspect is in custody assisting the investigation and will be put before the court”.
The police in furtherance stated that “Meanwhile, the Police Professional Standards Bureau is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and all persons found culpable will be taken through the necessary disciplinary processes”.
