The Vice Chairman of Bekwarra Local Government Area of Cross River State, Hon. Cecilia Ogar, has been presented with an official vehicle (brand new) by the Governor Bassey Otu-led government.
The vehicle was presented to Ogar on Thursday by Otu, who was represented by Hon. Yibala Inyang, Yakurr Local Government Area Chairman and Chairman of the State Forum of Local Government Chairmen.
Speaking on behalf of the Governor at the Cross River State ALGON office in Calabar, Yibala stated that the vehicle is part of Otu’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective administration and the smooth running of government.
On her part, the Vice Chairman thanked God and praised the Governor for his support. She also expressed her appreciation to the Chairman of Chairmen, as well as the Executive Chairman of Bekwarra Local Government Council, Hon. Odama Egbung, who was present at the handover ceremony.
