Governor Otu sets up task force to recover government-owned houses, others

Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has constituted a 19-man task force recovery of all State Government-owned houses and other properties.

This was disclosed by a press release signed by Ushie F. U., Director of Administration, for the State Commissioner for Housing, Dr Beatrice Igwe, on Friday, 12th July 2024.

The press statement which copied Nsa Gill, Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor, said the houses and other activities to recover are in relation to the Cross River State Ministry of Housing.

It reads: “His Excellency, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, the Executive Governor of Cross River State has approved the constitution of a Task Force on the Recovery of all State Government-owned Houses and other activities relating to the Cross River State Ministry of Housing, with the following members:

1. Prince Ekanem Ekpo – Chairman

2. Engr. Eyo Iban – Member
