Bakassi, Cross River State – The wife of the Governor, Rev. Mrs Eyoanwan Otu, will be attending the 2024 Bakassi International Fish Festival.
The festival, holding on the 4th to 6th of December, will have Her Excellency as the Special Guest of Honour.
The venue for the festival, which is in its 3rd edition, is Esuk Marine Police Station, Ikang Town, Bakassi.
The festival will feature Pageantry, Boat Regatta, Fishing Competition, Wrestling, Training, Awards, Fish Market, and lots more.
Converseer reports that the festival is organised by a dynamic group of young people led by founder Frank Edima, which promises an immersive celebration of the region’s fishing heritage, cultural vibrancy, and community spirit
