How to get 50GB data on MTN for free

The 50GB free data is available to all MTN subscribers and can be used to browse any site and download anything you want.

Over time, MTN doles out free services, including data and airtime to excite its customers and this time, it is 50GB of free data available to all subscribers.

The free 50GB is available for Android, iOS (iPhone, iPad) and PC users. You can use it in your Modem, Wi-Fi routers, Mobile hotspots, etc.

This was disclosed by MTN on their X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday. “We’ve got amazing offers on myMTN NG App just for you! Steps to get the MTN FREE 50GB data

1. Download the myMTNNG App simply from the Android Play Store or iOS App Store or text “myMTNNG” to 5018 to download myMTNNG App.

2. After downloading and installing the myMTNNG App, click on “Let’s get started”.

3. Sign in using your MTN phone number and enter the OTP code to continue.

4. Immediately you sign in, you will see a pop-up message that you’ve received 50GB of free data.

Q. Is the offer available only on myMTNNG App?

A. Yes. You can only get the free 50GB of data on myMTNNG App on a new download.

Q. How long will the 50GB free data last?

A. The data is for 24 hours only. It only lasts for one day. It cannot be rolled over or transferred.

Q. Can I gift, share or transfer the data?

A. No. The data cannot be shared or transferred but you can hotspot it or use it on your modem or Wi-Fi router.

Q. Can I use the data to browse any website and download anything?

A. Yes. You can use the data to download anything and on any website, including YouTube.

Q. Is the 50GB free MTN available to all customers?

A. Yes. However, it may not work if you already have the myMTNNG App on your phone before the introduction of this offer.
