Media personality and “political animal”, Okatakyie Afrifa has for the first time spoken about his issues with the Ghana police not long ago.
Speaking in an interview with Kwame Tanko on Lawson TV monitored by GH Page, the media personality noted that he didn’t commit any crime, hence, rumors that he committed a crime should be swept under the carpet.
Okatakyie Afrifa claims fighting for a good cause named “Freedom for Sekyere” landed him in that predicament, stating that “sometimes, when you start, a lot of people wouldn’t understand you until they see the good end”.
“If you saw that I was handcuffed and blood trickling through my body, I didn’t steal, kill anyone or commit any crime”, he disclosed.
The politician shared that even though Ghana as a country gained independence on March 6, 1957, the people of Sekyere are still colonized, adding that his fight to ensure that the people of Sekyere regained their independence caused whatever people saw online.
“The people of Sekyere are still colonized. So, I, Okatakyie have decided to ensure that the people of Sekyere gain their independence back”, he shared.
