Kelechi Iheanacho saved the blushes of the Super Eagles of Nigeria as they came from behind to draw The Warriors of Zimbabwe in their second FIFA World Cup qualifying match.

The match which was played at the Stade Huye, Butare, Zimbabwe on Sunday, ended in a 1-1 draw.

Walter Musona gave Zimbabwe the lead in the 26th minute before Kelechi Iheanacho equalised in the 67th minute, leaving the game in a stalemate.

The draw means Nigeria sit in 2nd place while Zimbabwe in 3rd, pending the outcome of the game between Lesotho vs Benin Republic and Rwanda vs South Africa.

Just like Nigeria, Zimbabwe have failed to win their two opening matches in the ongoing qualifiers.
