The Chairman of the Ethical and Attitudinal Reorientation Commission, (EARCOM), Akwa Ibom State, Dr Dorothy Thompson, has tasked the Staff of the Commission to redouble their effort, adopt a positive mindset to take the commission to the next level.
According to a press release from the Earcom Media Unit, Dr Thompson made the call during a general meeting of the Board, management and Staff of the Commission to reappraise performance levels and chart a way forward to boost productivity in carrying out their responsibilities.
The EARCOM boss who commended the Staff for their committment to perforimg the duties in accordance with the Charter of the Commission stressed the need to prioritise, “delivering on the Five Point” ARISE Agenda of Governor Umo Eno by aligning the operations of the Commission with the vision.
She said that a positive TVattitude was critical in productivity, adding that , no matter how brilliant a worker may be, if the mental attitude or mindset is wrong, you cannot make it.
According to her, the first meeting of the year 2025 is necessitated by the need to inspire the staff to rejuvenate their zeal, and be intentional about contributing to realising the operational mandate of the Commission.
Dr Thompson accordingly tasked the Staff on teamwork and inclusivity to ensure that each one contributes his and her ideas to the implementation of the stated objectives of EARCOM.
